Neal has been the Executive Director of the Commission since June 2022. He has a background in biology with a bachelor's of science degree from Dalhousie University, and has previously worked in aquaculture, environmental consulting, and as the manager of a commercial laboratory. In his spare time you can find Neal canoeing, fly-fishing, hiking, skiing, and exploring the woods and waters of both Charlotte and Washington counties. Neal resides near Saint Andrews.

Marshall Elsemore
Marshall began working for the commission as a Project Biologist in March 2023. With a passion for the local wilderness, Marshall brings 8 years of experience toward environmental monitoring and field study. A graduate of Mount Allison University, He is dedicated to providing a space for people and wildlife to coexist. Whether he is canoeing the river or performing animal tracking studies, Marshall advocates for the untouched nature of the St. Croix and works to preserve its well-being. Marshall resides in St. Stephen and enjoys a quiet home life of gardening and reading.
